I like the comfort and balance of Japanese Chef's Knife and the 5 inch utility knife is a must have for daily use. The handle size is comparable to larger knives and very safe to use.
I am not a chef, but I cook at home a lot. This little utility knife is really handy. It's just the right size for a lot of kitchen activities. Paring, peeling, slicing and dicing! It's got a very comfortable grip and the blade is decently sharp out of box. It takes an edge well and has decent retention. Would you find this knife in a professional kitchen? I don't know. I've got no complaints about the performance or aesthetics of this knife. Recommended!
Test it in different thins, like garlic, cherry tomatoes and even butterfly chicken breast. Its sharp and looks very good. Feels good in my hand.
