Best bread knife I've used. You need this knife to cut through homemade bread. It's sharp and strong for easy cuts all the way through.
As a former chef I always appreciate a good knife, and this is a good knife. The serrated blade is a requirement for cutting most breads. It is razor-sharp so it doesn't drag and tear the bread as it cuts. The handle adds a touch of elegance and it feels good in my hand. The full tang design provides good balance. The high-carbon German steel blade is rather hefty and makes this knife suitable for other purposes requiring a serrated edge. This may be the heaviest of all the bread knives I own (3 others). I can see this one becoming my favorite bread knife rather quickly. I like the wide, heavy blade and the way it feels in my hand. This will get a lot of use.
