I love the look and feel of the Bone Chopper. It is beautiful for the price, and was sharp out of the box, however it can be improved on. I bought it to deconstruct a turkey and it worked, however it needed to be sharper to get a cleaner cut. Overall, a great beginner Bone Chopper, good weight and feel, but use a sharpener to get the best results.

Heavy duty tool.

I can't say how it will hold an edge as I just got it but it came with a pretty good edge. It's heavy, appears to be sturdy and stout! Can't go wrong for the money!
